In January 2019, ambassador Sadie Daher was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. After receiving chemotherapy from February
2019 to June 2019, Daher received a stem cell transplant.
“I then spent a month in London and was able to come home to recover,” she shares. “Now, today I am cancer-free, and I am happy with my family and five grandchildren; I could not be happier.”
When asked what empowers her daily, Daher shares her faith has a lot to do with her empowerment.
“I have a lot of faith in St. Charbel; knowing I have another day to spend with my family gives me strength for the future,” she says.
