Spread Love and Kindness this Holiday Season

The holiday season is a stressful time for everyone. If you're not trying to find the perfect gift for that friend or family member, you're probably busy cooking for your family dinner or trying to finalize plans for when everyone can get together to celebrate Christmas.

The malls and parking lots are packed, the traffic is crazier than usual and everyone is doing their last minute holiday shopping. What is the true meaning of Christmas? Is it really about the presents under the tree or about being with your family and spreading positivity and hope to those that need it? 

This is your reminder to be patient, caring and respectful with workers when they don't have or can't find the item that you're looking for. Remember that if a store is sold out of the toy, game, or clothing item that you are looking to buy as a gift, it's not the worker's fault. They are merely the messenger.

When you're standing in that long Christmas line trying to purchase your items, remember that the line is moving just as slowly for everyone there. Remember that the lines are always crazy during this time of the year. 

Remember that the cashier is doing their best to get everyone through the line in a reasonable time. Remember that the restaurant worker that messed up your order might just be overwhelmed with everything else happening around them, remember the post office worker did not mean to deliver your package late, they were just busy with all the other orders that needed to be delivered today. Remember, your family bought you the best present that they could afford. 

The holiday season is truly about reconnecting, rekindling and spreading joy to one another. It’s about coming together again and spending time with the people you love the most. It’s about giving back to those who need it and reminding those that you love, that you are there for them no matter what. 
So, this holiday season, let’s spread love and joy and be kind to one another.
